AYAN Television is a subsidiary of Dove Professionals Inc, USA. Squadron Leader (R) Shahid Baig is an educator, entrepreneur and mentor, holds an MBA in "Business Management" from the School of Business at Preston University in Wyoming, Masters in "Physics (Spectroscopy)" and Bachelor's degree in "War Studies" from University of Karachi, Pakistan.  He served Air Force from 1979 to 2000 in different capacities. Squadron Leader (R) Shahid  has the honor of establishing the Sea Survival school and the Yacht club for the fighter pilots of the Air Force, which he commanded as pioneer Officer Commanding and Secretary from 1986 - 1993. In recognition of his services, he was twice awarded with the coveted Chief of the Air Staff commendation certificate. As a Yachtsman, he holds Air Force color in yachting. In his tenure at the helm of the Yacht club, Shahid has organized numerous water sports competitions and water festivals at National level to promote water sports and has the honor of introducing "Wind Surfing" in Pakistan.

He recorded documentaries for different television channels on aquatic sports and has been the Chief Editor of “Water World” magazine. After seeking early retirement from the Air Force, Squadron Leader (R) Shahid served as Manager at DHA Marina Club and established Edward American School & College in Gulsion-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan.

AYAN television (Voice Of Pakistanis') was put into air in 2009 with the aim to provide media experience that inspires and empowers its viewers to actively take steps to improve their lives and to build the image of Pakistan & Pakistanis. The Channel neither has geographic or demographic boundaries nor any language barrier. It targets "humanity & breaking cultural barriers " in general and "promoting ordinary people who do extra ordinary things" in particular. Shahid has dedicated his work to improve the quality of life in Pakistan.

Squadron Leader (R) Shahid migrated to USA in 2003 and poured his heart & soul into his business. As Chief Architect he brings to Dove Professionals Inc vision, persistence, data-based decision making and financial discipline. Presently, he is also hosting a Morning show every Sunday on AYAN Television besides being a substitute teacher (Physics) and working for an Airline at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago.
